Holy Week & Easter Updates

Our Holy week liturgies began on Palm Sunday as we commemorated Jesus triumphant entry into Jerusalem and ended with the Triduum.

On Holy Thursday at the Mass of the Lord’s Super, we celebrated the institution of the Eucharist and Fr. Don and Fr. Bryan washed the feet of 12 parishioners. We ended with adoration at the Altar of Repose in the Parish Hall.

On Good Friday we observed the Passion of Christ through the Stations of the Cross for children in the morning and a service with veneration of the cross at 3pm.

The Easter Vigil on Saturday evening began with a fire pit in the courtyard followed by the Lighting of the Paschal Candle from this fire.

This year we baptised 7 catechumens into the church to become new Catholics. Let us keep these men and women in our prayers as they grow in their relationship with the Risen Lord.

On Easter Sunday morning we baptised 2 more young children at the 11 am Mass.

To kick off the Easter Season, we celebrated with brunch on Sunday after the morning Masses with activities for the children and an egg hunt.

Easter is not merely an event, but a profound moment that has redeemed us from the darkness of sin to light.

We are extremely grateful to everyone that attended our week long traditions and celebrations, and we thank all the volunteers who pitched in to make it a success. Your dedication and hard work helped to make our celebrations meaningful and spiritually uplifting. Your generosity is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love.

Christ is Risen, Alleluia, Alleluia.

Men’s Ministry Kickoff

On March 19th, the Men of All Saints gathered to celebrate the Solemnity of Saint Joseph and to kick off a Men’s Ministry at the parish.

Men aged 19 through 60+ who were in attendance shared a meal and a drink while exploring their faith and creating bonds of fraternity.

Casey Wong shared his vision of the Men’s Ministry and gathered feedback on what the men of this parish want the most: opportunities to meet with other men, and faith formation.

40 Days for Life

A small group from All Saints  went to join in 40 days for life.  We chose the morning on St Joseph’s feast day on March 19th to be a witness for life. When we got there a large group from Canadian Martyrs parish were present too
