Carney Christmas Craft Fair

Saturday and Sunday, November 12th and 13th

The Archbishop Carney Craft Fair is the perfect venue to check off everyone on your Christmas list with original gifts you simply won't find anywhere else. Make a day of it with family and friends, share the festive atmosphere, meet the artists, sample the treats, and feel good not only about completing your Christmas shopping but also about giving back to your community this holiday season.

With over 150 crafters in attendance – there is something for everyone! We hope to see you there!

Development & Peace Workshop

You’re invited to an interactive workshop with Development and Peace. We will take an introductory look at our Catholic church’s important social teachings through the lens of D&P’s People and Planet First campaign. We will learn about some of the key social issues of our time, and how we as Catholics, can respond to and reflect on these topics!

Our gathering will take place in the Assumption Parish from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm on Nov 12th. Coffee and snacks will be served.

Mother Teresa: No Greater Love Movie Premier

November 2 & 3 at 7pm

On November 2-3, theatres across five provinces in Canada will release Mother Teresa: No Greater Love, a feature-length film, produced by the Knights of Columbus.

This movie was made to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Mother Teresa’s passing. This documentary is a breathtaking account of the life and legacy of this globally renowned and heroic humanitarian, as well as the work of her religious community, the Missionaries of Charity. Mother Teresa had a life-altering impact on countless persons from all walks of life. We are encouraging Catholic families to extend the invitation to family, friends and neighbours to see and support the film in theatres.

The film will be showing in New Westminster and Surrey.
