Alpha Update

Since the end of July, our Parish has been praying for our Alpha participants. We’ve had some wonderful Thursday evenings together, filled with great food, Spirit-led conversations, and beautiful fellowship.

The Alpha team together with their participants will be attending a day retreat on November 4th. Please continue to keep them in your prayers. May the Holy Spirit continue to fill their time together and touch their hearts as they come to know and love Jesus

Forgiven

We recently completed the series FORGIVEN which explained in detail why confession is so important for us. We ended the 3-part series with a night of Adoration, Praise & Worship and the Sacrament of Confession.

Here is a snippet of Fenella's testimony, a parishioner who attended FORGIVEN.

“I learned so much more about why we attend confession, the deeper meaning of every aspect of confession, how God wants to forgive us no matter who we are or what we have done. I learned about how it is not just about forgiveness but also about healing. And through this healing we are transformed and drawn closer to God.

I really found the faith study sessions a refreshing reminder of the significance of the sacrament of penance. I found it so uplifting to be reminded that God loves us so dearly that he seeks us out when we have sinned and wants us to experience his mercy and love. It’s also encouraged me to learn how to forgive myself and others by following His loving example.

I truly enjoyed the small group format, getting to know the participants and the warm supportive atmosphere. It was comforting to connect with others as we each shared our personal experiences with the sacrament of penance and to realize that we are not alone in our struggles.”
