Fr. Don, Fr. Bryan, and the entire Staff Team extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of our Holy Week, Triduum, and Easter celebrations.
From the dedicated decorating team to the talented KOC Chefs who prepared the Easter Sunday brunch, and all the amazing volunteers who lent a helping hand—your efforts made these events truly special.
Thank you!
Holy Week & Easter Updates
Our Holy week liturgies began on Palm Sunday in the school gym as we processed into the Church commemorating Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem and ended with the Triduum.
At the Mass of the Lord's Supper, we celebrated the institution of the Eucharist and Fr. Don and Fr. Bryan washed the feet of 12 parishioners. We ended with adoration at the Altar of Repose in the Parish Hall.
On Good Friday we observed the Passion of Christ through the Stations of the Cross for Children in the morning and a service with veneration of the cross at 3 pm.
The Easter Vigil on Saturday evening began with a fire pit in the courtyard followed by the Lighting of the Paschal candle from this fire. This year we baptised 5 catechumens into the church to become new catholics and had one candidate make a profession of faith as she got Confirmed with the other 5. Please keep these new Catholics in your prayers as they grow in their relationship with the Risen Lord.
We celebrated on Easter Sunday with morning Masses, brunch and an egg hunt.
Easter is not merely an event, but a profound moment that has redeemed us from the darkness of sin to light.
Christ is Risen, Alleluia, Alleluia! The Risen Lord makes all things beautiful.
Bringing Easter Cheer To Our Elders

On Holy Saturday, April 19, our parish community came together to brighten the hearts of seniors through the Blooms Into Rooms project. With the support of four families, a PREP teacher, and two parish leaders, we delivered beautiful flowers and heartfelt Easter cards to 137 seniors at Madison Care Centre and 56 seniors at Lakeshore Care Centre.
It was a simple yet meaningful way to remind our seniors that they are loved, remembered, and part of our faith family. Special thanks to our PREP and QAS students who helped write the Easter cards and shared joy and hope this Easter season!
