Confirmation Retreat
Our Confirmands had a fun and faith filled experience at the recently concluded Confirmation Retreat conducted by NET Ministries. Thank you to all those who
helped with organising the retreat. A big thank you to the NET Ministries team and to the host families who hosted them. Please continue to pray for our Confirmands. A few pictures.
ST. VINCENT de PAUL CHRISTMAS REPORT 2023.
We received 23 Christmas hamper requests for 23 adults and 15 children. We gave them all hampers, gift cards, and presents. We also helped many other people and organizations in our community, thanks to the kindness of our donors and partners. Here are some of the highlights of our charitable work:
QAS school: They donated food items and $1000 in gift cards from their Christmas concert.
The Giving Tree: They donated gifts and $1035 in gift cards.
Madison Care Home: We gave 135 poinsettias to their clients.
Suwa`lkh school: We gave $20 Tim Hortons gift cards to each student. (Shared with Fatima SSVP)
Maillard school: We donated gifts, food, clothing, and shoes for their Christmas hampers.
Other organizations: We gave money to Talitha Koum, Our Lady of Good Counsel, Domestic Abuse Services, Days for Girls, and Luke 15 House.
Parish collection: We collected enough funds in December to support our work for the next year.
We are grateful to everyone who supported our work in any way. May God bless you all as we enter 2024.
