October 18th Pastor's Message
Dear Friends,
Last Sunday the students from Queen of All Saints School held a bake sale to raise funds for a new gymnasium. Their banner was covered with the hand prints of the students and read:
ALL HANDS ON DECK.
LET’S BUILD A NEW GYM.
The students are right, the school and the parish need a new gymnasium.
Fundraising for the new building is being channelled through Project Advance, the annual fundraising campaign of the Archdiocese of Vancouver.
So far, 80 parish families have pledged a total of $70,000. It is a good start but many more donors will be required to meet our 2026 goal of 250 families and $160,000.
Please consider making a pledge. The money only needs to be paid by the end of December. The easiest way to donate to Project Advance 2026 is on-line at projectadvance.ca
Let’s work together to renew our parish and our parish facilities. All of us will benefit from the new buildings and future generations of Catholics will thank us for our foresight and selfless generosity.
Love,
Father Don
