Neufeld Parenting Workshops: Making Sense of Anxiety
The escalating level of anxiety in our children begs for an explanation as well as a solution. Dr. Gordon Neufeld sheds light on this age-old problem, paving the way for natural interventions that can actually get to the root causes as opposed to just managing symptoms. Although the focus is on children, this enlightening material will benefit anyone suffering from anxiety.
Weekly on Tuesdays from November 3 to November 24, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. online. Register and learn more at bccatholic.ca/events
Together for Good Workshop
Married couples are invited for a day of meaningful conversations and practical tools to strengthen their marriage. Through five guided sessions led by Neil and Sharol Josephson, couples will explore ways to grow closer, improve communication, navigate conflict and deepen intimacy and spirituality. Lunch and workbooks included.
Saturday, November 7, 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Parish, North Vancouver. Register today: bccatholic.ca/events
What to do When Someone You Love Considers MAiD
When someone we love considers Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), we may feel uncertain, afraid, or unsure of what to say or do. As Catholics, we believe that every human life possesses inherent dignity, but how do we put this belief into practice when someone we love is considering MAiD? Join Deacon Larry Worthen, Executive Director of the Christian Medical and Dental Association (CMDA), for a thoughtful and practical talk on how to accompany loved ones who are considering MAiD.
Tuesday, November 10, 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at St. Francis de Sales School Gym, Burnaby. Register today: bccatholic.ca/events
