Feast of San Lorenzo Ruiz

Last September 28, the Parish celebrated the Feast of San Lorenzo Ruiz with music, decorations, and Filipino food. We are thankful for all those who participated in the festivities, especially those who prepared and sold Filipino delicacies!  

Altar Server Training

Last September 26th, forty of our younger parishioners gathered at the Church to learn how to altar serve from some of our senior servers. The kids ended the evenings with some fellowship and pizza. Grateful for all the parents that came to help, and to all senior servers that patiently, and passionately shared their knowledge and experience with everyone.

Blessing of Pets

The QAS SPCA Club 2025 organized the annual “Blessing of the Pets”. Parishioners brought their pets to receive a blessing from Fr. Don. Families received St. Francis of Assisi prayer cards and certificates, while the QAS School Choir serenaded the community. Thank you to all the students and staff that made this event happen. 

Maintenance Committee at Work

The maintenance committee continued to work on the property these past few weeks, leveling the stones in front of the Church, as well as clearing and gathering seven truck loads of leaves and branches. So grateful for all the work our volunteers do to keep our Parish clean and safe.
