Upper Room 2021

Fr. Don has talked a lot about evangelization in his homilies recently. Evangelization can be a daunting task for Catholics. If you have no idea how to evangelize, then the Upper Room Conference is for you!

The Upper Room is a Vancouver Conference that inspires and equips Catholics on how to live on mission in our homes and community.

There are three ways to attend the conference this year, Online, in person at the "main-live site" or in-person at All Saints Parish. However, there are only 50 spots available at All Saints so register soon!

When?

Saturday, Sept., 18 9:00am-5:30pm

Where?

Online or In-Person at All Saints Parish

Alpha

Speaking of Evangelization, a good easy first step is inviting your friends to Alpha. This Alpha is going to be for non-practicing Catholics or those who have never encountered the Good News.

The only problem is that we have no contact with these people! But you do! Only you can invite your non-believing friends and family

Invite your friends who might know nothing about Christianity for great food, even better conversation and talks that make you think.

First Communion 2021

Due to the pandemic, it was not possible to celebrate First Communion on the scheduled date of May 23. A new date has now been selected. There will be one celebration for all First Communion students on Saturday, September 25 at 10:30 a.m. (so long as no new pandemic restrictions are imposed).

Parents, please mark this date on your calendar.

ASPYM

Over the past year, Youth Ministry has spent about 105hrs on Zoom between Core team meetings and Youth nights. Luckily with restrictions lifting, we've had two in-person Youth nights. Over the past two youth nights, we've had 30 youth come for games, Korean fried chicken, pizza, testimonies. To your left, you'll see a picture from our Olympic Games

We're going to take a small break until the fall, but we have a lot planned! In September, we're running Youth Alpha (stay tuned for more info), and we're also going to be creating service opportunities.

We also have merch coming this fall!! 👀

Prep Registration

PREP Registration for children (Grade 1 - 7) is currently underway. Similar to last year, we will be offering a homeschool or in-class option for this year. It is important to please register your child using the online form as soon as possible so we are able to plan the year ahead with in-class and homeschool materials.

In-Class sessions will be Thursday nights 6:15pm - 7:30pm beginning on September 16th. All new families will be asked to attend an orientation meeting.

We look forward to another successful year of our PREP Program and providing our children formation via our Virtues in Practice teachings.

For any questions please contact PREP Coordinator, Maria Faccio allsaintsprep@shaw.ca.
